Plantlife UK approached out curriculum manager with a request for us to help them discover the nation's favorite British wildflower. Requesting we create "Vox Pox" around Salisbury asking members of the public what their favorite British wildflower, using a simple blackboard and chalk they would write their choice and give a short explanation as to why.
Myself a three peers took to the streets of Salisbury, originally around the city's market square, however many in this area were in a rush so we changed locations to one of the local parks and the Cathedral close. This worked to our advantage as many in these areas were relaxing and enjoying the summer sun.

The main purpose of the video was in increase awareness of the Plantlife's search for the favorite wildflower. They also asked for us to take a few pictures and write a short blog post on our day filming.
Blog Post:
Finding Flower Lovers in Salisbury.
On a beautifully sunny day in Salisbury we took to the streets of the beautiful city to find out what wildflower the people loved the most. Two things became clear to us and that was how everyone has a favourite flower and secondly how it was much easier for them to choose a favourite flower over a candidate to support in the general election of 2015. Men, woman and children all happily participated on saying their favourite flower with many having such interesting reasons behind their choices. From simply enjoying the look and smell of a flower to it being linked to childhood memories to certain flowers having such strong national heritage behind them. People offered us new insights behind some of the flowers. We even started to spot some of these wild flowers around the city as were filmed and we found a new interest in the wild flowers of our nation.
